Korean “Sister Relationship” Agreement

On the 29th of September 2018 representatives of Australian Taekwondo Queensland signed a ‘Sister Relationship Agreement’ with the Seoul Geumcheon District Taekwondo Association with a view to develop friendship and cooperation and to promote mutual understanding and sporting awareness between the two organisations.

 In depth, this agreement was initiated to encourage greater friendship and cultural/sporting exchanges between Australian Taekwondo Queensland and Seoul Geumcheon District Taekwondo Association.  This agreement promotes cultural and sporting exchanges between the two organisation (such as both organisations will endeavour to maintain athlete/coach exchange programs to provide the opportunity to learn, train and live in the sister organisation community.

This program provides opportunities for Australian athletes and coaches to develop skills in Korea which enhance Australia-Korea relationships (and vice versa).
